Senior Managing Associate Corporate (Real Estate) M&A | Leading Law Firm

For a leading law firm, I am looking for a Senior Managing Associate with solid experience in Corporate (Real Estate) M&A. Fluent in Dutch, with good knowledge of English and French.

The firm is a leading Belgian law firm with a strong reputation in real estate and construction law. It combines high-level legal expertise with a pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset and close client proximity.

To support its growth, the firm is looking to strengthen its team with a Senior Managing Associate who is eager to join a dynamic and collaborative workplace.

As a Senior Managing Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Negotiating on behalf of clients and advising them on corporate and contractual matters relating to real estate (e.g. real estate and building contracts, cooperation agreements in the construction sector, acquisitions of real estate companies, etc.)
• Supervising acquisition transactions (incl. due diligence and drafting of transaction documents) and transaction structures (such as MBOs, LBOs, joint ventures, etc.)
• Supervising three colleagues in these areas
• Contributing to the development of this activity within the firm

• You hold a Belgian Master's degree in law
• You have solid experience in Corporate (Real Estate) M&A
• You have a strong interest in corporate and business law, and are familiar with the real estate sector
• You are a born negotiator and enjoy taking the lead in negotiations
• You are enthusiastic, communicative, take initiative and enjoy teamwork in order to offer integrated solutions to clients
• You are flexible and able to work with deadlines
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English and French
