Legal Content Manager | Legaltech

For a Legaltech, I am looking for a Legal Content Manager interested in turning traditional editorial content into digital packages on an innovative digital platform. Fluent in Dutch or French, with good command of the other language.

The company has been founded in 2021 by two well-established publishers known on the Belgian legal market for the quality of their products and services. This new entity aims to accelerate the digitalisation of the products and services of its members by developing a digital platform that aims to boost the legal expertise of its users (legal professionals such as lawyers, notaries, legal counsels...).

You will take full ownership of the content management of this new platform and will ensure that the content inside the platform accurately meets the needs of the market. More concretely, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Detecting the needs of different target audiences in terms of (digital) content packages. You might be involved in meeting key users, authors and other stakeholders
  • Assessing the relevance of new (digital) content packages
  • Initiating, coordinating efforts with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. authors) and ensuring the complete follow-up
  • Managing the growing portfolio of digital packages
  • Coordinating internal efforts in terms of content integration into the platform
  • Monitoring and ensuring the data quality of integrated content
  • Being the gatekeeper and single point of contact for all content-related topics
  • Collecting user feedback and detecting improvement opportunities (from an editorial, but also technical, functional, strategic... perspective)
  • Assisting the management with reports and pragmatic recommendations to support strategic decision making
  • Monitoring market evolutions and ensuring a continuous competitive watch

You should strive by challenges as this is a new entrepreneurial position inside a new structure for the development and the go-to-market of a new digital platform.

  • You have a master's degree in law (or a professional bachelor in law)
  • You have a first experience in the legal sector
  • You have a strong affinity with new technologies and are digitally aware
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset (resourcefulness, go-getter attitude, pragmatism...)
  • You are dynamic, result-driven and able to work independently
  • You have a professional command of Dutch and French. English is a plus

  • A challenging and rewarding position within a new, young and dynamic organisation with significant resources, backed by well-established market players
  • A high impact role
  • A full-time, permanent contract with an attractive salary package
  • Remote working facilities
