(Senior) Managing Associate Real Estate & Construction Law | Leading Law Firm

For a leading law firm, I am looking for a (Senior) Managing Associate with solid experience in real estate and construction law. Fluent in Dutch, with knowledge of French.

The firm is a leading Belgian law firm with a strong reputation in real estate and construction law. It combines high-level legal expertise with a pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset and close client proximity.

To support the growth of its Real Estate & Construction Law practice, the firm is looking to strengthen its team with a (Senior) Managing Associate who is eager to join a dynamic and collaborative workplace.

As a (Senior) Managing Associate, you will advise an attractive clientele, such as property developers, architects, landowners, project developers, property investors, on complex real estate and construction law matters, particularly in a litigation context. You will work closely with partners and clients, manage cases with a high degree of autonomy, and actively contribute to the further development of the practice. More specifically, you will:

• Assist and advise clients in resolving their existing or future disputes
• Draft legal documents, such as conclusions, contracts and opinions
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners on case management and file development
• Attend client meetings, court hearings and other legal proceedings as necessary
• Ensure that files and documentation are accurate and up to date and keep abreast of legal developments
• Advise clients on the broader aspects of construction law

• You hold a Belgian Master's degree in law
• You have solid experience in real estate and construction law, enabling you to work independently
• You have a particular interest in construction law and construction liability
• You are motivated and eager to learn
• You are flexible and able to work with deadlines
• You are a team player, a sounding board for clients and colleagues
• You enjoy a high degree of autonomy and direct client contact
• You are fluent in Dutch and are proficient in French
