These general terms and conditions apply to the services provided by Lawdle SRL, whose registered office is located at Avenue de la Forêt de Soignes 60 B0202, 1640 Rhode-Saint-Genèse, Belgium (BE 0630.847.418) (hereinafter “Lawdle”), a company specialised in legal recruitment in Belgium for law firms and companies, as well as to the use of its website.
Any collaboration with Lawdle implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. Nature of services
Lawdle supports its clients in identifying and selecting legal professionals for long-term engagements.
Its services include, in particular:
- understanding the hiring needs
- identifying and approaching candidates
- assessing and presenting profiles
- providing support throughout the process
Lawdle acts as an intermediary. The final hiring decision remains the sole responsibility of the client.
2. Approach
Lawdle applies a focused and tailored approach aimed at presenting candidates who are aligned with the client’s expectations and environment.
Its services are provided on a best-efforts basis.
3. Collaboration
Effective collaboration is based on transparent and timely communication.
The client undertakes in particular to:
- provide complete information regarding the position
- ensure appropriate follow-up of presented candidates
- inform Lawdle of any decisions regarding candidates
4. Fees
Fees are due in the event of the engagement of a candidate presented by Lawdle and are defined in the commercial offer, generally based on the candidate’s remuneration.
Fees may also be due if a candidate is engaged within a reasonable period following their introduction.
5. Guarantee
Unless otherwise agreed, a replacement guarantee may be provided as part of the assignment, in accordance with the terms set out in the commercial offer.
Where applicable, such guarantee allows Lawdle to relaunch the search without additional fees, subject to the agreed conditions.
6. Confidentiality
Information exchanged in the context of the assignment, as well as data relating to candidates, shall be treated as strictly confidential.
Information relating to candidates presented may not be used outside the relevant recruitment process without Lawdle’s prior consent.
7. Data protection
Lawdle processes personal data in accordance with applicable regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Candidate data is shared with the client exclusively for the purpose of evaluating a professional opportunity. The client undertakes to use such data in a limited, appropriate and lawful manner.

8. Liability
Lawdle exercises due care in the selection of candidates.
However, Lawdle shall not be held liable for decisions taken by the client or for information provided by candidates.
9. Non-solicitation
The client undertakes not to recruit or solicit any Lawdle employee involved in an assignment during its term and for a period of 12 months following its termination.
Reciprocally, Lawdle undertakes not to actively solicit the client’s employees during the same period, except where they have contacted Lawdle on their own initiative.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law.
Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Lawdle’s registered office.
